Discovery Channel mistake
The Discovery Channel recently wrote that a visitor center in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor will open in April: "A new visitor center opening later this month will feature a large plastic model of the valley, showing the location of each of its 63 tombs. Computers and large visual displays will also be available."
Actually the visitor center has been open for weeks. I was there at least three weeks ago and I saw the plastic model of the valley. It's an excellent model in a glass case and with a clear plastic representation of the valley with each tomb dug into it.
Regardless, they are completely wrong and it seems they did not verify their facts.
